THE SUCCESSFUL FAN
Alex’s Story
Season ticket holder, Matthew Harding Lower, roughly 10 years and counting.

ALEX HARRIS
My name is Alex Harris, and I’m a Chelsea supporter and I run Chelsea Fan TV. I’ve been a season ticket holder at Stamford Bridge for around 10 years, sitting in the Matthew Harding Lower, and since football returned after COVID, I’ve followed Chelsea home and away.
Being a Chelsea supporter is a huge part of my life. Going to games is about much more than simply watching the football — it’s the excitement before a match, the atmosphere in the stands, travelling with other supporters and experiencing all the highs and lows that come with following the club. Some weeks Chelsea can completely ruin your mood, while other weeks they give you memories that stay with you forever. Whatever happens, I always want to be there supporting the team.
Sitting in the Matthew Harding Lower has made me feel especially connected to the atmosphere and the matchgoing side of the club. Being surrounded by passionate supporters every week has also helped shape how I see Chelsea and the way I talk about the club.
Chelsea Fan TV gives me the opportunity to share those experiences and speak honestly about what is happening at Chelsea from a supporter’s perspective. I love meeting other fans, listening to their opinions and giving people a place to discuss the club — even when we completely disagree.
This newsletter is another way for me to share my experiences, thoughts and love for Chelsea while building a community in which members feel that their voices are genuinely represented.
